We are thrilled to announce the addition of JD Ross to the Southern Pickleball Academy Board of Directors. A Fort Mill resident and passionate pickleball advocate, JD brings a wealth of experience and a vision for expanding our academy's impact beyond Aiken County.
As a certified pickleball instructor with over five years of playing experience, JD understands firsthand the transformative power of this rapidly growing sport. His dedication to promoting pickleball's positive benefits for both youth and adults aligns perfectly with our academy's mission.
"Pickleball has the unique ability to bring people together and create opportunities for personal growth," says Ross. "I'm excited to help the Southern Pickleball Academy reach more communities and impact more lives through this amazing sport."
Beyond his contributions to the pickleball community, JD is well-known as the Host and Producer of The Circle of the Panda Podcast. Founded in 2017, his podcast platform embraces a mission that resonates deeply with our academy's values – creating opportunities for overlooked talent to shine and fostering meaningful collaborations.
Through Circle of the Panda, JD has demonstrated his ability to identify unique potential and build the support networks necessary for success. This experience will be invaluable as we work to expand our academy's reach and develop new programs throughout the region.
